If your claim is successful, our professional fees are payable in accordance with the costs agreement you enter into with us. We will explain how our fees are calculated before you decide to proceed.
There may also be disbursements and other expenses involved in bringing a claim, such as medical reports, expert evidence and the cost of obtaining records. How these expenses are dealt with will also be explained to you before your claim proceeds.
Depending on the type of claim and how it is resolved, there may also be a risk of being required to pay another party's legal costs, particularly if court proceedings are commenced. A No Win, No Fee arrangement does not necessarily cover these costs. We will explain any relevant financial risks before you decide whether to proceed.
If your claim is unsuccessful, you will not be required to pay KMB Legal's professional fees for work covered by the No Win, No Fee arrangement, subject to the terms of your costs agreement.
