About Katie Chan

KMB Legal founder, Katie Chan, was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2010 after graduating with a double degree from Griffith University in Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts, majoring in International Politics.

Law is a culture that has been ingrained in Katie since birth. Her father, uncle and cousin are solicitors, and throughout her childhood, she was fascinated by the legal process and career path. Katie began her career at 15-years old, working at her father’s law firm. Over two decades later she founded KMB Legal.

KMB Legal encompasses the traditional legal values instilled throughout Katie’s life, combined with a dynamic and modern approach that is efficient and productive through the use of the latest technology and software. It is with the fusion of traditional and modern approaches that KMB Legal delivers excellence in customer service, strong results and outcomes with a personal, down-to-earth approach.
